The Facts

 

Arts & Crafts is a Norwegian jewellery company founded in 1984 after the two designers had met on an adventurous trip through Asia back in the late 70ies. Two creative young people, she from Norway and he from Holland, joined forces in an effort never to let the journey end. They started to make high quality fashion jewellery which today is becoming a success world wide. The jewellery is originally designed in Norway and is a fusion of Scandinavian simplicity and international fashion trends.

 

 

 

 

 

 

During the course of the 1990s Arts & Crafts expanded with several new concept stores in Norway, and in 2007 the number counts 20 stores located from the north to the south of the country. Arts &Crafts also distribute jewellery to more than 700 shops in Norway.     

 

In 2003 A&C started exporting jewellery internationally, and are now represented in more than 20 countries around the world, with sales both through retailers and concept stores. Today Arts & Crafts concept stores are located in Moscow, Tokyo, Taipei - and more are planned to come….  

 

A&C jewellery is now available in the following countries:

Sweden, DenmarkGermany, Austria, UK & Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Italy, Greece, Canada, New Zealand, Russia, Japan and Taiwan. 

 

Arts & Crafts head office is located in beautiful green surroundings in Lier, in the eastern part of NorwayGeneral Manager Lars Tore Hogsnes is running the  business, and owners Birgit Løitegaard and Franz Titular are still active within design and concept development.  The head quarter hosts a total of 30 employees with functions within design, logistics, distribution, marketing and sales support.
