It is important for us to take ethical and social responsibility of our trade and production. Our goal is to promote environmentally safe processes and procedures, fair salaries and decent working conditions and to respect the prohibition against child labour.
ETHICAL TRADE INITIATIV NORWAY (ETI)
Arts & Crafts is a member of Ethical Trade Initiative Norway (ETI-Norway). This is a resource centre and an advocate for ethical trade practices. ETI-Norway’s objective is collaboration to ensure that international trade does not contravene human rights, labour rights, economic development and the environment. This shall be undertaken by:
1. Strengthening the support for ethical trade issues.
2. Supporting members in developing ethical trade practices.
