About A&C

Arts & Crafts is a Norwegian jewellery company founded in 1984.

Like a fairytale – the story of A&C started back in 1979, when two creative young people backpacked their way through Asia and met on a golden beach in Sri Lanka. They fell in love, both with each other and with the colourful diversity the world has to offer. Together they joined forces in an effort to never let their journey end and started to make high quality fashion jewellery that today is enjoying success worldwide.

The two designers, she from Norway and he from Holland, are still as dedicated to creating beautiful jewellery like they were so many years ago. The designs are inspired by Scandinavian simplicity with a multi cultural influence. The brand is known for its informal charm and fun-loving attitude – and aims at conscious women who like an elegant, yet relaxed style.

Today A&C is represented in more than 20 countries around the world, with sales both through retailers and concept stores. Arts & Crafts concept stores are located in Norway, Moscow, Tokyo, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur and more are planned to come.

A&C makes high quality fashion jewellery, as well as totally handmade sterling silver jewellery. All the collections are originally designed in Norway. The jewellery is handmade in limited editions with lead free casting materials, hand decorated with enamel, Swarovski crystals, pearls and other quality materials. Each piece is carefully designed with a lot of love, attention and a great sense of detail.

A&C offers a wide range of beautiful jewellery collections, something to fit every individual. The company has divided its collections into four different sub brands:

• Signature – a romantic and feminine collection for every occasion
• Essence – modern, yet timeless and elegant designs.
• Pure Silver – Unique design jewellery, totally handmade in sterling silver.
• Man – a laidback and informal collection with a masculine expression.

The A&C design team travel around the world for inspiration, but the basic elements for creating A&C jewellery will always be influenced by the special light, grandiose nature, pure air and fresh water of Norway and Scandinavia.

A&C jewellery is an advocate of Ethical trade. We sponsor a NGO organization for street children in India (www.ladli.org). We take care not to harm the environment by avoiding corals, fur, rainforest wood and other non sustainable materials. We put nature before trade, because we are all a part of nature.
